It’s a very sensitive topic to touch but NG decided to step forward and take accountability for years of racism and exclusion. As the first Jewish Woman editor of NG, Susan Goldberg fully understands the magazine’s distasteful past and wanted to examine their history before addressing anything or anyone else. [Smart Move!] Hiring an indislosed preeminent historian to evaluate the magazines coverage and found what most of us already knew….in 1970 NG practically ignored black people within the states and glorified the exotic ‘nature of the savage’ cliché. How can they fix this moving forward?
