We love positive people here on the No Outlet Podcast. By extension, we truly respect and admire those who focus on solutions instead of problems. Those who don't get caught up in what has not been done for them but or may not be perfectly set up for them. Instead, they simply keep their focus on what they are trying to achieve and continuously move towards it.
Juan Matias is our guest tonight and he is exactly that type of person. His story is inspirational and should serve as a template to everyone facing any type of challenges in their life. Tonight we dive into his journey from leaving the Dominican Republic, entering a High School in NYC not speaking a word of English (Chemistry Class no less!) to graduating as a salutatorian and heading off to college a few years later.
On top of that he is a kind, thoughtful and funny guy who is fun to be around and always seems to be in a good mood. Proof positive that no matter what you think about where you are and how rough you may have it…you can work through and past anything!
