Last year I lost my Father shortly after Fathers Day. He had been sick for a long time and I knew his time here was limited. He was a major role model in my life (as Fathers tend to be) and I wanted him to know how much he meant to me and how much he impacted my life for the better. So, I recorded a podcast highlighting stories about him and sharing some insight into how much he meant to me. Thankfully, he was able to listen to it and sent me a text after saying simply: "Thanks E, I needed that" and then, about a week later, he was gone. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. What better time to revisit how I feel about my Dad then on Fathers day? Being a Dad is complicated, challenging, confusing and yet, sometimes, extremely rewarding and certainly impactful. So, with that backdrop, "Happy Father's Day" to all Fathers out there and here's to you Dad...I think about you every day and still think to myself WHHHD?
