Description

In this episode of Faithfully Memphis, Emily Austin is joined by "glass-overflowing optimist" Marvin Stockwell for a conversation on faith, nonprofit communications, and why we should all find a so-called lost cause to champion. In addition to his career at Church Health, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and FedEx, Stockwell has been a driving force behind Friends of the Fairgrounds and the Coliseum Coalition, which seeks to restore and repurpose the Mid-South Coliseum into a facility that will continue to serve Memphians for years to come. We also talk about one of the original STEMenists, Florence Nightengale, in honor of her feast day!
