Jesus knew that everything was now finished, and to fulfill the Scriptures he said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips. 1. Love won… and GAVE us a WAY to God.
For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23 (NLT)

2. Love won… when Jesus FINISHED His work of GRACE for me.
Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. Romans 3:24 (NLT)
