Welcome to episode 15 of the Maine-Ly Basketball Podcast! This episode featured the former Penquis Star, Hampden Academy & Stonehill standout Isaiah Bess! We went over Isaiah's illustrious career, beginning on a small travel team in old town. Later on, after the missing out on his first national team, we worked harder than ever and came into his own. His freshman year, he made a direct impact on varsity and was balling out at each AAU tournament he invested time in. After bringing a state chip to Penquis, he decided to transfer to Hampden to prove he can play with the best. Whether he was playing class C or class A, it didn't matter, he performed at the highest level and helped lead that team to states. After 4 highly successful years at Stonehill, which featured an elite 8 appearance, Isaiah is now in Boston, continuing to kill it but just off the court this time! Being one of the most talented players from Maine, he has an amazing story to listen to and is certainly a player to remember.
