Welcome to episode 24 of the Maine-Ly Basketball Podcast! This episode features former Machias and Hermon star, two time state champ and current Thomas Terrior, Jacob Godfrey! Jacob's been the biggest kid on the court and has been a huge presence since the beginning, but once his game really developed it was over. First playing AAU in the summer after 8th grade, he was exposed to top tier talent and took everything back with him to the states and implemented it in his game. Having successful teams but experiencing early exists wasn’t ideal, after another let down sophomore year he took his game up a completely different notch and showed the state what they were in for. With a move to Hermon his senior year, he came out a completely different player with the help from his coach & best friend Keenan, class B was in for a rude awakening. Now being in his third year of collegiate basketball, his journey is far from over, but you have to tune in to get all the details behind his two state chips and the rest!
