Andrew continues in our series of ‘core values’. Core values are what tie our practices as people and as a local church to the driving force of what we believe and are in Christ. They are, if you will, the spokes in a wheel which gets Holy spirit power to the tyre so that a cycle can move! The first set of three – like big thick spokes’ are ‘Jesus-Centred', 'Gospel-Driven' and 'Shaped by Scripture’. These three are the main spokes which are driving our practices and rhythms in life. As a a group of three they provide stability to a ‘wheel’ so that it doesn’t go ‘wonky’. This week is the last one – Shaped by Scripture – we want the Scriptures to guide us in our lives, beliefs, and practices as a local church and as Jesus' Disciples.
