We have all seen and heard about the tension between the police and minority communities. This tension has been present since the beginning of time, but with social media, the rest of the world is now forced to witness it as well. In this episode we speak to a police officer by the name of Eric Jackson , a black police officer who trying to bridge the gap. We discuss the struggles of being a police officer, the politics and favoritism that occur within the department and the stress of policing after tragic police killings such as George Floyd and so many others are made public through social media and other outlets. Lastly, we talk about the events that helped him choose his career, and his purpose as a police officer.
