The WHO recommends breastfeeding to continue up to the age of 2 years or beyond. The benefits of breastfeeding are widely known, and people will happily give their babies breastmilk from other mammals (cows, goats)... so why is it still so controversial to continue feeding your bubba with your own milk once they start toddlering around.
Of course everyone will have an opinion on the subject and will gladly tell you what they think you should be doing. What happened to my body, my choice 🤷♀️
