In this episode I speak to Leemon McHenry, whose career has involved exposing bad science in corporate America. His most recent work investigated the Monsanto Papers, internal documents revealing Monsanto's lobbying efforts with the EPA and journal editors. He has taught philosophy at California State University and worked as a research consultant for the Los Angeles law firm Baum, Hedlund, Aristei & Goldman, which won the $289 million lawsuit against Monsanto. He joins me today to discuss his research and shed light on lobbying practices by Monsanto and other corporations.
Here is his paper which I cite in the episode: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29843257
