Did you know that there are several ways you respond to your emotions? I never knew this when I was going through my abortion and didn’t know how I was affected afterward by it. When we resist, buffer, avoid, ignore, deny our emotions the reality is that they are still there. There’re still there!! The only way to process our emotions is to allow ourselves to feel them. But feeling sounds scary. Which is why we don’t do it. The truth is, our emotions can’t do anything to us. They are simply a vibration in our body, that’s it.
