Starting his television career in the country’s most famous utilities cupboards, Chris Jarvis was a regular on CBBC’s the broom cupboard alongside other broadcasting greats such as Phillip Schofeild, Zoe Ball and Andy Peters.
Since then he has very much become a children’s television institution with a career spanning over 30 years mainly with the BBC. As well as a presenter and actor, Chris has been instrumental in the creation of many well known children’s tv shows by turning his hand to writing and development.
He plays a huge part in one of the UK’s most loved festive traditions, Pantomime. Every year he treads the boards for the panto season and has entertained audiences up and down the country. As well as having a very hands-on role in producing the cbeebies live pantomimes.
He is exactly the same in real life as what you see on tv. Kind and incredibly genuine.
