Sophie Isaacs
Sophie Isaacs is a much loved star of the west end, starring in high profile shows such as the teen phenomenon Heathers and west end smash hit SIX the Musical.
This episode that you are going to be listening to is in fact a throwback to when we were in the midst of the pandemic. We were recording whilst in the frustrations of lockdown. Sophie and I often cross paths, not for long, but always long enough to check in with each other and she is always a total joy.
We bumped into each other recently at Move It - the worlds largest dance event, where she was teaching a workshop for dance and musical theatre fans from around the country. And as always she was her wonderful and glamorous self.
I thought I would put this episode out as a reminder of how different times were just a few short years ago and how much the theatre industry has gained momentum since those very bleak looking days. Attending move it really opened my eyes to this and the buzz of dance and theatre lovers everywhere was electric. I loved it. I’m so glad we are getting back to normal and the Arts is getting that much needed injection of love and energy that it needs.
