For this episode we’re sharing a conversation with Margaret Toal, Chair of the Orange County Historical Commission, about her remembrances of Henry Lowe. Prior to his passing in November of 2022, Mr. Lowe was well known for his efforts to preserve and share the heritage and contributions of the African American community. Most notably, he set about to create the Orange African American Museum, a project that continues today.
Our thanks to our guest for this episode: Margaret Toal and the H.H. and Edna Houseman Charitable Trust for making this program possible. Additional support provided by the Jefferson County Historical Commission.
