Today I’m talking to Tim Alison about how his own skills muscles took him where he is today, on his journey of defying conventional wisdom. What do I mean by that? Well, Tim is a lifelong entrepreneur who advises and mentors experienced leaders on how to create a Thought Leadership business.
Tim is also a public speaker, author, and host of the Screw the Naysayers Podcast where he has interviewed thought leaders such as Seth Godin, Heather Monahan, and Corey Poirier.
At the age of 31, Tim walked away from a six-figure job and moved, with his family, to a tiny fishing village in Nova Scotia Canada. The naysayers laughed when he started an educational software company. They stopped laughing when his sales topped $10M. Thirty-one years later Tim still lives in that same fishing village. His favorite saying is “Know the life you want and have the courage to live it.”
