Throdown won 3 Regional Championship titles and eventually defeated the entire United States in both 2018 and 2019, making him the 2nd person in DMC history to win back-to-back DMC USA National Championship titles. This advanced him to the World Finals in London, representing America as he competed against the top DJs from 14 different countries, ultimately taking 5th place in the world both years. Throdown has also twice finished as a World Finalist in the DMC Online World Championships. And outside of the DJ booth, the cut crusader can be found sharing half a lifetime's worth of knowledge and experience with up-and-coming selectors at the Beat Refinery, the mid-Atlantic's premier DJ and music production school.
In reaction to 2020’s year long quarantine Throdown has pivoted from the DJ booth to long hours in the studio, so be on the lookout for his electrifying original productions dropping later this year!
