Jesus’ birth account was recorded to include Herod’s massive infanticide in an attempt to preserve his mortal reign for another... 5 years? He’s dead. The ironic thing is that Jesus was eventually murdered, but it was in order to establish His eternal reign. Jesus didn’t stay dead! Jesus is still alive today!
