When you are rebuilding after a mistake, failure, or any other life catastrophe, the path isn't always straight. And that is okay.
It can be discouraging.
You picked yourself up off the floor. Good.
You dusted yourself off and started making a plan. Very good.
You started moving forward and taking action on your plan. Super good.
Something goes wrong or gets in your way and you are moving way from your goal. Super not good. But also super normal.
While not mentioned in the podcast, the concepts discussed really harken to Carol Dweck's Mindset. Focusing on growth and opportunity rather than lack and limitation. Yes, visualization and manifestation and Law of Attraction and any number of goal-focused concepts are important, but it is equally important to accept that fact that you might run into some shit on your way to salvation (bumpersticker?).
