Hammond Report April 7 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story about playing the kickoff concert at Summer NAMM Show with my band outdoors at the Nashville Music City Center in downtown Nashville, Tennessee - on the band, Roland Barber trombone, Cord Martin t. sax, Louis Flip Winfield drums, Leslie J. Carter 'Chuggy' Carter GON BOPS congas and percussion and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ - guitarist Joe Berger got stuck in the Chicago airport and had to sleep the night on one of the cots they put out - then got woke up super early by a supervisor lady - the story he had when he finally made it in to Nashville! I just watched a documentary titled "Your Flight is Canceled", no kidding! Well the good news is, we'll see us back in Nashville July 15th & 16th - the bad news is, as of now there is no live stage - every day a new story - and I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report folks!
