Hammond Report January 26 2021 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about the recording session for my album "Late Rent" remarkable documentary film from inside Quad Recording Studios NYC - the actual track "White Onions" being played and recorded - I played the house Hammond B3 organ that had a busted key - I got there early and managed to Super Glue it together and it held throughout the recording miraculously. On the date, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie drums, Chuggy Leslie J. Carter congas and percussion, co-producer Engineer Joe Berger, tenor saxophonist Alex Foster, Barry Finnerty guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the Hammond B3 organ. This is the same band personell that played at Mikell's nightclub in 1989 - enjoy! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report, this my daily update - Jon Hammond Band
