If it wasn't for this album and it's lead single of the same name, the underground band Mott the Hoople probably would've faded into obscurity forever. But an up and coming singer/songwriter named David Bowie saw the potential in this glam band and their silly name and produced their album designed to turn them into superstars. And it worked!
