How many of you know someone in abuse, but you don't know what to do, or how to help?  Please come and find out what you can do. Please, we must save more lives. It is up to all of us. Supporter's Toolkit: Leaving is often the most dangerous time for a victim of abuse because abuse is about power and control.

When a victim leaves, they are taking control of their lives and threatening the abusive partner’s power, which could cause the abusive partner to retaliate in very destructive ways: physical, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially. For myself, I had three main supporters that helped me. 1) family, 2) a co-worker, 3) a stranger who was in the right place at the right time--her name was Gloria. (I'll share more about Gloria later). Their support was built on trust and they were there for me when I was ready to make my move. Without them, I would have never made it out and I’m 99% sure I would have been a tragic news story on the evening news.

We know people in abusive situations. As friends, family, co-workers, and strangers,  WHAT can we do to help them? We want to be a light for them to get out of the darkness!  With COVID19, the numbers are rising. More victims are trapped with their abusers.  HOW DO WE HELP THEM OUT OF THIS ABUSE? ANSWER?? BECOME A SUPPORTER! Join us to give two books of my book Pinpoints of Light: Escaping the Abyss of Abuse to survivors in  11,000 Shelters Across the US! Give two books today.
