Hello, my dance friends! Today, I get to chat with the enchanting Stacey Lizette! She tells us about how she got into #fusiondance, who some of her biggest inspirations are, and looks back some of her best experiences with Suhaila, Jamila, and her Salimpour dance family!

Stacey directs the Tekatek Dance Ensemble, her advanced student dance troupe. She is also the “Choreography Captain” of the Texas, Melbourne, and South Carolina Salimpour Collectives.
Stacey currently teaches weekly beginner and advanced dance classes in Austin, TX based on the Salimpour School of Dance method. She has instructed since 2004 in group, private and semi-private venues (Diva Dance studio, Tapestry Dance Studio, UT Informal Classes, Open Lotus, Rose Movement Studio, Balance Dance Studios).
