In Victoria, Pascoe Vale have dented and possibly ended Dandenong Thunder’s chances of making the finals with a 3-1 win at home. Dandenong are 4 points out of the finals spots with just two games remaining.
Also in Victoria, and Melbourne Knights have taken a valuable three points in a 3-2 win over Port Melbourne Sharks to go equal 6th on the table. Port Melbourne would have secured a finals spot with a win, but instead they find themselves dragged back into a tight battle for 5th and 6th place. And with arguably the toughest final two rounds, Port Melbourne could look back at this loss as a very costly one.
On to Tasmania now, where Hobart Zebras have defeated Kingborough Lions 3-1 to keep pressure on the league leaders. The Zebras are equal on points with South Hobart but six points behind Devonport City, with only three games to go.
