NOTE: In one portion of my sermon today, I tell of a death-bed experience written from the perspective of Lady Hope of Northfield. There are many commentaries and studies that ask the question if Charles Darwin recanted his evolution ideas and accepted Jesus as his Savior in the end. Many say this story by Lady Hope is false. I share in my sermon the way I do to express the regret we can feel, the way our thoughts can influence others, and how God changes everything. Whether Charles Darwin actually changed his mind in the end, none of us will know until we one day get to Heaven.
