What did God promise to Abram? Why did God tell Abram to cut these animals in half? What did it symbolize? // 3. Now read Genesis 15:17-18. What is a covenant? How did God appear, and what did He do? Why is that important? // 4. When we see fire, what do we generally think as humans? Can you think of anywhere else in the Bible that God appears as fire?
