Tony is the President of the World Cannabis Foundation. He has been working in hemp since 2015 when he began pursuing a Master's Degree in Plant Science at Cal Poly Pomona. Hemp grain and fiber variety trials were his thesis project. Tony oversaw some of the first hemp plantings in California in 2017 and 2018 and has been involved in projects across the state ever since. MOU's from research institutes he worked with facilitated the production of tens of millions of feminized seeds in California in 2018 and 2019. They conducted smokable hemp variety trials in 2020, grain production trials in 2021, and collaborated with Hemp Traders and Western Fiber on fiber trials in 2021. They are starting a 2-year trial with hemp and biochar, funded in part by a USDA grant, in late 2021 with Western Fiber.
