This week, on deck for the punkadelophiles, we've got a jam packed show, including but not limited to: What Guitars Should Sound Like (According to me), 9/11, and how the Simpsons already did it! Looking at you Cypress HIll! Then the climactic, chaotic and kinetic hyperdrive ride thru the lazily rolling hills of Austin, Texas that is DEATH PROOF. I saw one blogger/commenter/critic (whatever!) say that it's the only QT film that hasn't been reclaimed by film nerds as a lost classic. Well let me tell you that campaign starts right here and it starts right now. Misunderstood film. I thought this essay nailed it so I read it word for word for you heathens out there. This is a highly cultured show that reads essays and is intellectual, ok? Also the story of The Shed, London, an absolute classic bit of reporting by Vice, back when they could afford to do wildly stupid shit like this and call it journalism. How'd that work out for them? Bless. I took time also to tell you the story of punkadelic, from my early days in community radio thru to now where i'm a content slinging machine. it's art ok mom!?!?!!? you wouldn't understand! Then for your listening entertainment and enjoyment- thee best segment in podcasting- it's WALLOPER WATCH, the most criminally under-looked piece of art since Death Proof.
