For so long Beauty has been a mystery to me. I thought you were born with it or without it. Unfortunately, I was mistaken that I didn't have any. Through the years there have been seasons where I began to have a glow that no one could explain but everyone could see. Over the years I have also been stripped of my external beauty and left down in the slumps of raggedy and tragedy. I have been graced to see beauty through the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the one who created it all and is the most Beautiful of ALL creation. Yes! My God is beautiful and made it for our good. We have been taught that beauty is vain or selfish to put yourself first. True beauty really does come from inside outward. Beauty comes from knowing who you are and what you are called to do in this earth. Beauty comes from trusting God even when nothing makes sense or when you really do feel bad about yourself. Beauty comes from loving yourself because you know God has made you special and you are worth the love, time, energy, and even the respect and attention that comes from being beautiful. You are beautiful because God makes beautiful things and He said it is good. You know what else? When He made man He said it was VERY good!
