Growing up I struggled with self identity. I constantly felt like the people I needed the most just couldn't be there for me so I internalized the negative feelings I had. I suppressed who I was as a girl because my truth wasn't getting me positive results.
I had to learn the ways of everyone else in order to keep up with life and not get left behind. I truly have been on a journey to self growth, healing, maturity, and discovery. I'm so thankful I have found a place of love, joy, and peace with who I am. I don't have to pretend. I don't feel lost anymore. I don't ask God who am I? What am I called to do?
