Winning a best Actress in a leading role for her part in our movie this week, Frances McDormand, turns out a rousing portrayal of a woman choosing a nomadic lifestyle in favour of setting down roots in a real estate community. Though nomadic lifestyles have become more possible than not in today’s Covid-19 world, McDormand’s stunning performance is her third Oscar in her career, just one short of the record held by Katharine Hepburn, while award winning, and the director, Chloé Chou, not only won accolades in China, she picked up an Oscar for this movie as well. Given that Nomadland won so many Oscars, Claudia and Victor decide to put the Oscar winning movie through its paces to see if the movie deserved a best movie, Oscar.

Remember, tune in every Friday to hear whether Claudia and Victor think you should plunk down money on a particular movie or not.
