Meet Lena Williams, a thirty-something information technology specialist at Indiana University. Breaking through the glass ceiling, in a male dominated field, can be impressive on its own, but when you factor in the fact that she’s black, in a predominantly white campus, one is able to idolize her resolve and fortitude. Although Lena was raised in a white male dominated home-life, racism was never a factor in Lena’s day-to-day living, until her late teens, when her baptism of fire rained on her the feelings of inadequacy and intolerance, both subtle and overt, she would face this intolerance with grace and composure. Never one to shy away from a fight, Lena’s anger was tempered with great wisdom, and she quickly realized, with thanks to her mother’s wise counsel, that one cannot shy away from a fight worth fighting, especially when one’s moral countenance is on the line.
Join Victor, as he shows everyone the benefits of wisdom in the face of intolerance and racism, and how that wisdom, in the right person can flourish, and become prosperous and supportive, and most importantly, beautiful and wonderful.
