Description

Join me as I discuss the facts and statistics for Mental Health Awareness Month - celebrated every May since 1949!! It's so important for us to educate ourselves and others about the importance of taking care of our mental health. This year, Mental Health Awareness Month is more critical than ever, as the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted our daily lives and created a significant amount of stress and anxiety.

I want to remind each of you that it's okay not to be okay, and seeking help is a sign of courage. And in reaching out for support and talking about it, we begin to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Together.

PS. I follow this episode up with some real talk about youth suicide facts. So please excuse the vanilla, just the facts, presentation. I want to get information to you whilst balancing my story. XOXO
