Welcome to Episode 37: Working Memory and You.

Do you ever thinking to yourself - Why Can’t I Remember Anything? And What Was I Just Doing?

Here’s the deal: some of us are better than remembering things more than others. Working memory is one of the executive functions - it's like your brain's temporary sticky note. It’s the ability to hold and manipulate information in mind, over brief intervals. Your working memory is designed to help you remember things that are important to you in the present moment, but not 20 years from now.

You use your working memory  hundreds of times every day. When you mentally prepare a list before going to the store or think about what you want to accomplish at work, you are using your working memory.

So what can you do if you struggle with working memory? (Or if someone close to you might struggle.) I have 8 recommendations for you in this episode!
