“We live in a world that often tells us that our ways are better than God’s ways. That our truth is greater than God’s truth. That our wants and our desires are more important than God’s wants and God’s desires. Humility will never be possible and pride will always be present as long as there is an improper view of God and of ourselves. Until we place God in the place that is reserved for Him and until we submit ourselves to His authority and His rule, we will continue to let this cancer of pride grow in our lives."
