Luz J. Garcia is the Regional Coordinator for the Latino Coordinating Center for a Tobacco Free California, a statewide program of the California Health Collaborative. Luz graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Human Resource Management. In the fall of 2019, she also earned a Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis in Community Health Education. In her early career she has worked in advocacy around health and nutrition, domestic violence and sexual assault prevention, mental health, and tobacco control. In Luz's free time Luz travels the world and enjoys learning new languages.
