Some experts consider lying, which starts as early as age 2, a developmental milestone in humans. So we decided to find out how often people lie, by how much, and how often. What are some of the reasons that people lie, and what stops people from lying? Listen along as we discuss lying in our day-to-day lives.

TLDR: Most lies are told for selfish reasons, but other reasons include protecting others’ feelings and maintaining social politeness.
