The call of the Christian is to serve others in love regardless of any possible reward. Good intentions won't cut it, and disregard for the needy will certainly fall short, but complete surrender and obedience is the only plan of action that will do. We must love others because God first loved us. Glorify God when sinners come to repentance and help usher them to the presence of God. This is what Jesus did and what is expected of you and me!
