Eight hundred thousand children die every year before their fifth birthday due to malnutrition
The chairman, steering committee, Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria, CS-SUNN, Mallam Sodango Adam stated this in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State at a two day Legislative Retreat for legislators and executives on improved nutrition funding in Nigeria for Lagos, Kano, Nassarawa, Kaduna and Niger States.
