Be Better Today (Season 2, Episode 15) – Leadership: James Humes
This week’s theme is leadership. There are so many quotes on this subject that I’m sure we will visit it often. Today, we start with a quote from James Humes, author and former presidential speechwriter, who once said, “Every time you have to speak, you are auditioning for leadership.”
Over the next week, pause before you speak. That includes verbal and nonverbal communication. If you take a moment to find the best possible words, your ability to lead will easily be seen by everyone.
