Prayer is the simple __________ of talking to God.

Matthew 6:9-13 Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our sins, As we forgive those who sin against us.  And do not lead us into temptation But deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Daniel ________________ hid his faith, even if it meant punishment.

The resilient person will _______________ at all times.

James 5:13-16 (ESV)

13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

The point is for you to pray _____ ___________ because you know that God is ____________ to answer.

Bring all things to God in prayer and let him guide you, don’t _______ _______ _______________ without asking God.

Romans 8:26-27(NLT) And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we do n’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

Romans 8:34 (ESV) Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
