Kelly is the author of two non-fiction books, LOVEABLE: EMBRACING WHAT IS TRUEST ABOUT YOU SO YOU CAN TRULY EMBRACE YOUR LIFE and TRUE COMPANIONS: A BOOK FOR EVERYONE ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIPS THAT SEE US THROUGH. Kelly is married to another clinical psychologist named Kelly, and they have three children who are eighteen, fourteen, and twelve years old. They live in a small town outside of Chicago.
