It's amazing what kind of information you can get by looking at public statistics and information instead of relying on CNN, Fox, and other news outlets for their opinionated 'news.'
LA County devotes 40% of its budget on Education, and they want more even though there are LESS students in the system. Why the change, is it even necessary? History has shown that funding poverty projects can work in the short term, but ultimately stop making a difference.
Some new proposals are doomed to repeat history. If we just look at the facts and performance of past projects, we can spend the money more efficiently and actually HELP people!
I LOVE going to the theater to see a movie. It's a quick escape from the mundane world and an opportunity to shut the phone off and focus on something else. I am SO HAPPY THEATERS ARE OPEN AGAIN! Please support them and keep this iconic American tradition alive!
