What are some common phrases that you have heard growing up attending church (if you did)? Many come to mind, however, there is one that I wanted to address in today’s episode: “Remove all worldly thoughts.” This is a phrase often heard right before we are going to partake of the Lord’s Supper. I wanted to talk about this phrase and while I understand the thought behind it, we may need to relook at this phrase and see how sometimes our worldly thoughts may remind us more of why we need a Savior.
