What is Managerial Courage? It's dispensing direct and actionable feedback, its being open and direct with others without intimidation, and it needs to be respectable, you're dealing with prickly situations, you're making timely decisions your holding yourself accountable and it is ok to be a disruptor.
Speak up in a safe environment. Create a safe environment so that others can speak up so you can join in with them.
Ask coaching questions. How would it be if we did this? Do we see any issues if we did that?
Means enjoying an environment where people can participate.
Its part of being a servant leader. It means you're paving the path for others to have a safe environment.
Sometimes its facing the truth we screwed up, we need to hold ourselves accountable, we need to let people know we dropped the ball.
