Description

Thanks for dropping by the Three Things podcast, it’s nice to know you are here. 95 episodes ago, I sensed something had happened to the part of me that noticed every changing wind. Jason Isbell is a main reason for this podcast, yes. Since then, once a week, I have tried with whatever stock-issue noticing equipment hasn’t been occupied by the algorithms and the advertisers, to get back to what, for a long time, was quite good enough: to notice things I notice that make me happy or grateful, remember them, put them down.

This week’s three things:

1. Fables – the evening Aesop dropped by our place in Parkview

2. Encounters – or, why curbside pickup grocery shopping isn’t my jam

3. Nothings – let’s not forget all the little stuff that didn’t happen, too!

The music in the podcast was made for Three Things by Edmonton composer and pianist Brendan McGrath. Dude is really talented. The end bells that punctuate each episode are courtesy of Edmonton metal artist, humanitarian and O’Leary grad, Slavo Cech.

What are you noticing out there? I’m at glenn.kubish@gmail.com

🌺 Lest we forget.
