Music fans and history buffs will know that 'Van the Man' stormed onto the scene with 'Them', some have describe them as the rawest R&B band ever to come out of Northern Ireland. In the 1960s the guys became famous However, Bill Dunn turned his back on it all, sick and tired of the band and lifestyle he was living, Bill left the band and his young friend Van Morrision took over as fronting vocalist.- just months prior to the band hitting the charts with 'Baby Please Don't Go'.
