Scott Craig is a personal trainer, but more than that, he's a man who's overcome great challenges in his life, addiction, loss and mental health struggles which many of us can relate to, but not many use this to fuel a total overhaul of their life for the better and then into competing in Iron Man competitions.
Despite all of this he is one of the humblest and most down to earth guys i've ever talked to and his mission is to help others use the pain or frustrations of their past towards transforming their future into something they can find happiness in.
We've known of each other since we were both around 15/16 playing in the Glasgow Music Scene and through a few mutual friends, I've seen both his excellent work through the results of his clients and heard of his story through his own social media pages for some time, however this was the first time we properly sat down to chat and I was truly inspired by his story and in the honesty and vulnerability he shows in telling it.
You can find him at DC Fitness on Facebook & @coach__dc on Instagram for information on joining his training programmes or just to follow his updates and philosophies on mental and physical wellbeing.
