Description

Sorry about the two-day delay. My AI guy, Art Lish, was a little under the weather, so I had to send him in for repairs. He's feeling as good as new, so I put him back to work immediately. Today’s episode is for August 27, 2020. Our Idiom for today is ‘float your boat.’  If something floats your boat, it makes you happy, or you enjoy it. People also use it to mean I don't care, do whatever you like. You can read along as you listen by following this link: https://www.artisanenglish.jp/debate-and-discussion-online/float-your-boat/

Here are the links to other phrases mentioned in today's episode:

Live and let live: To live and let live is to accept and tolerate others' opinions and actions, so they accept and tolerate your thoughts and behaviour. https://www.artisanenglish.jp/debate-and-discussion-online/live-and-let-live/

Knock yourself out: Knock yourself out means to feel free to do whatever you want to do for as long as you want to do it.
